What would you rather see as a Bearcat fan?....

A. The football team playing for the Big East title like they pretty much are on saturday

B. Basketball team playing for a Big East regular season title... maybe against louisville or WVU or really anyone?

Personally I wanna see a basketball championship. It's nice see the football team doing well.. If you would of asked me when my brother who is a senior began his career here at UC, I would say I could see the basketball team was playing for a big east title my freshman year here I would believe it. not the football team.. it's a good story and I'm really excited about this and the thought of having a good football and basketball program by the time i leave here. It's just I have always loved the basketball team.. honestly I didn't have great passion for the football team when they were beating marshell in an avg bowl back to back years. I supported them out of pashion for this school, but i wouldnt stress over a loss like I always have with this basketball program. Alot of you may not admit it but i bet over half the members on here feel the same way. Going through bad times with a program like the basketball team (especially the way they went down and are back on the rise so soon), it makes you feel good as a fan when they come back to the top. Makes you feel proud! I know football is a very popular sport, but Basketball at UC has been a part of my life and has always been a winner since I have been around. Its time we go up and down with this program but its alright, b/c we will be back, and when we are, it's going to be a real nice story. What do you guys think?

The more basketball championships the better! I do love UC basketball and am accustomed to winning. With the circumstances the way they are, I would love to see a football championship right now. I want UC to become more accomplished in sports other than basketball to help the uinversity's image and reputation. Cincinnati is a great sports town and if we have a yearly competitor in both major sports at the college level it would help to elevate the city's sports image even more. Go Cats!

I much rather see a football title first, just for the sole reason that they have never won much. I disagree with many, as I don't think that bball is forever ruined at UC. Teams have bad spots (see UNC in the early 2000s, ND football this year). The success in football has led to a full 35K seat stadium of people spending money, and winning tomorrow and hopefully going to a BCS bowl would do tremendous things for the school as a whole.

Summarizing, I have complete faith that the bball team will get back to where we are used to, so it's great to have the football program seeing newfound success.

A conference title means much more to me in football. With the existance of conference tournaments and the NCAA tournament the conference championship isn't as important.

I don't know if I would rather have a tournament or regualar season basketball championship. The good thing is that I think one helps get the other.

Basketball.

But why can't we get both in the same year? ;)

For just a Big East title I'd prefer football because it gets you the BCS bowl where in basketball all it gets you is a better seed in the NCAA tourney.

If we're talking National Championship then it would be a toss up and I'd probably lean toward basketball.

There is no reason to have to choose, win both.

I'd take football because more people get to see and experience it.

I would rather see the BB program win for my personal satisfaction since I have been following that program closely for over 17 years.

A football championship would mean more to the school I think because we already have BB titles. When I say titles I speak more of National titles rather than conference titles but I'm not sure the same doesn't apply to conference titles.

Either way go Bearcats!!!!! I will take either one and root as hard as I can for both.

Football - I've already seen 5 consecutive Final 4's and 2 national championships in basketball - give me a football national championship and I can go to the great beyond happy.
