Check out the link located on the home page.
A few thoughts:
1 - too bad these games are not for this year
2 - at least they are BEast games and not the pansies at the beginning of the season.
3 - he finally got busted
4 - there are also recruiting restrictions
5 - loss of scholarships
6 - how will this affect his future recruiting?

Hoping we play Uconn next year either as our first, second, or third BE game.

I thought I read somewhere on ESPN that the games effected would be DePaul, South Florida and Providence (which would be a relief to UConn).....but then again, have they already scheduled next years BEast (I doubt it). Still perhaps the restriction on recruiting might even the playing field a little.

As I look at the past few years recruits who chose one school over the other, Biggie, Thabeet, and Kemba come to mind. Thabeet was a one year wonder, but could've open up some in roads had we won that battle. I'm not too sure Kemba was that serious about playing in Clifton. I am not aware of any current recruits selecting between them and us, so this should be little impact to our program.

I think it is a bad move to suspend Calhoun for 3 BE games. Give how hard it is to get any win in the BE, it will give 3 teams an advantage that the other 12 teams don't get.
It is one thing to disadvantage UConn, it is another to give three an advantage over the other 12.
The best thing to do is to suspend him for the next 3 out of conference regular season games that are nationally televised. That would really hurt because of the PR hit.

looks like he's not coaching their next game against marquette due to the death of his sister-in-law, but will probably be back for the UC game.

My bad....I think they were saying it could those 3 not so good teams and he'd still be upset about it
"And that will hurt Calhoun, sting deeply in fact. Connecticut could play DePaul, South Florida and Providence in those three games and Calhoun would still chafe at not being there."
