I heard from a few friends that Mick Cronin was seen at this game saturday night after the fairfield game.
Who could he be looking at? 3 of Moe's starters have already committed and signed, so i'm assuming he was looking at Marshall's sophomore Staten, Moeller's 6'8 sophomore Griffin McKenzie, or Moeller senior Michael Davenport.
Anyone have more info on this?
Juwan Staten - Marshall - 29 Points, 4 ast, 12-22 fg, 4-10 3pt
Michael Davenport - Moeller - 14 points, 6 steals, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 5-9 fg.
Griffin McKenzie - Moeller - 11 points, 3 rebounds, 5-6 fg
Keep in mind Moeller won 85-58 so Davenport only played 3 quarters and McKenzie only played the 4th quarter, McKenzie won't be rushed into playing time as he is only a sophomore.

Looking at their roster/boxscore it seems like Staten could be their only d1 prospect, they had one other player in double digits.
Maybe I misunderstand your comment.

Davenport is awesome. I follow the Moeller program closely and it is clear that Moeller is always the most prepared team on the court. Davenports dad played at Xavier and he can shoot and can leap out of the gym. I doubt Mick would be looking to over him a scholarship.... What he should do is offer Coach Kramer a job because we would win the X's and O's portion. OK I am biased but seriously I hope he is scouting Kramer!

Nope - you understood it.
(But your pre-edit of your original post didn't have Staten listed, so my initial response wouldnt have taken Staten into consideration.)

Davenport cant shoot. He attempted no treys last season and at 6'3" at the next level he would have to hit the trey. He is a very good athlete though.

I went to Moeller the past two years and D-Port can jump like no other and he can shoot, i saw him at open gym all the time all he was doing was shooting. He will only get better.
