Are there any options in the forum software to create a popup to notify you of a PM? I almost always overlook me on this forum, but others that I post on have a popup or email notification, so I'm always aware.

there's an option for Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up, if that's what you mean.
Look under: User CP>Settings & Options>Edit Options under Messaging & Notification
