A bit surprising that Max is only making $500,000 - A 6th year sometime starter. Lance makes $700,000.

Kidding, kidding.I know it's still a lot of money, but when their career is over most of them have squandered it and spend most of the rest of their lives back in poverty.

Not sure if this was BB or FB but I read where most pro athletes go broke within 5 years of retiring because the spend like mad while they're in the league and don't invest in anything.

The '98 lockout showed us something like 60% of the league lives paycheck to paycheck.

I don't feel bad for any of them.

Yes, they definitely did. Max signed a 4 year/$20 mil dollar contract after his rookie deal expired.

Lance went off the other night to for a career high 8 pts. He averages 2pts. Shoulda stayed 1 more. I don't know what he was BORN READY for but it wasn't the NBA that early. The NBA isn't Rucker Park.

I'd have liked to see Lance stay another year or two. I like to cheer on the ex-bearcats and he seems to be getting more minutes with the Pacers. Hopefully he's heading in a good direction now.

Looks like Lance started tonight. Top scorer for the Pacers.
