Was just reading an article in the Thursday Enquirer about Western Hills football coach being "stunned" his contract wasn't renewed after going 4-16 over two years. That made me laugh. But the article also id's Western Hills athletic director as PJ Mays. Anyone know if that's former UC runningback PJ Mays? Last I heard, he went off to Youngstown State... then dropped off the face of the earth.

The PJ Mays at West High is a former Purcell basketball player. When he come out of HS he was top 100 in the country and committed to Norm Stewart at Mizzou. Different person.

This is a different PJ Mays. The PJ Mays who is the Athletic Director at Western Hills played varsity basketball at Summit Country Day High School as a freshman for one year and then left and transferred to Purcell Marian the year after Purcell Marian one the High School basketball state championship. He graduated from Purcell Marian and started his college career at the University of Missouri and transferred to a smaller school in Tennessee.
