This totally came out of left field. I'm sure it's a 1 in a million chance, but I wouldn't mind it.

There are also 1 million names out there right now.....

The last one I heard was Mariuchi (wow, i am too lazy to make sure I spelled that right). I am still going with my prediction that LSU president and Miles are doing this together to keep the team focused and he will still go to Michigan.

Please, please, please take him!!! We don't want him associated with our Bengals anymore.

Is there a chance you could take Mike Brown also?

I agree....I'd luv Marvin to go to Michigan. Solves at least 3 problems for me. :)

Ha, if you think that the Cincinnati Bengals will be better w/o Marvin Lewis, you're probably fooling yourself.

I think he's gotten everything he possibly can out of that franchise, and unfortunately that's 8-8.

If Marvin leaves, you're looking at another Coslet/Shula situation.

I think Lewis needs a new OC and special teams coach. THe playcalling has been very bad especialy in the red zone and special teams has seemed weak all year.

I'm with Bob. A few weeks ago I told some of my Marvin-bashing friends that not only should they keep Lewis, but they should sign him to a contract extension.

OC and not a DC? What?

1. The offense has been hurt by injuries and suspensions. You can also blame the biggest issues on Palmer's inaccurate arm.

2. The defense has been pathetic since he took over the team. It is time to bring in a real DC.

Maybe he shouldn't be replaced due to the injuries, but the playcalling inside the 20 has been horrific. Graham has the 2nd most FG attempts in the league from 39 and in.

It really doesn't matter who coaches the Bengals--Mike Brown has a stranglehold on player selection and development. A coach may show a glimmer, but eventually those tight Bengal purse strings squash potential success.

Since this is the case until Mike dies....may as well hire an inexpensive coach--in the end, the results will be the same--a medicore to bad team.
