Do other people share the opinion that losses no longer bother me but wins excite me. It use to be the opposite, wins were expected and I hated losing. Hopefully I am not the only one but it is true.

This basketball team is like a can of Red Bull. A lot of energy after a win, but a couple of days later that enthusiasm comes crashing down.

UC had lots of L and not so many W in the late 1970's thru the 1980's. We survived. I cheered FOR every team regardless of W or L.
W are more fun, true dat.

St. John's was favored to win the game and they did. Big East road wins are tough to come by which is why the Louisville game was so sweet.

I will always get into the games and be rooting just as hard, but loses just sting when expectations are low. Hopefully we can change that.

Alot of young teams in the Big East this year. There will be ups and downs for alot of teams.

As bad as the Cats played yesterday (man that was an ugly game to watch), the fact remains that they just split a 2-game road trip in the Big East.
Didnt do that last year.
And the film from the game should give Mick and staff plenty to teach about
Young teams are gonna have ups and downs, and of course, road wins are ALWAYS tough no matter who you play
Gotta look at the positives...there's still 16 more games to go

Oh and one more thing about ALVIN MITCHELL:
What is so hard about taking a dribble or two and then pulling up for a 12-15 foot jumper? Shouldn't a great scorer who can shoot have an easy fundamental move like that? He has had many opportunities to do that, yet he either takes a 3 or takes it all the way and gets swatted. Pull-up jumpers... not that tough of an offensive move dude.

Seems like no matter the opponent or situation they score around the mid to high 50's. Still not sure how they managed to get in the 70's against NC St. For this crew to win they have to hold the opponent in the 50's. Any defensive lapses and they are SOL.

He'll take and make that shot when Adam H figures out he is 6'10" and can dunk.

If we all keep a more even keel, IE, keep the HIGH's a little more realistic(like alot on here after the uL win), and the LOW's a little more realistic(like realize this is going to take a while) there will be less pain.
you can't hang "everything" on ONE game or another.

I have always been bothered by losses and excited by wins.

We scored 77 against NC State because we put them on the foul line so much that the clock didnt run much.. so we had more time and possessions than normal to score points
Gonna be tough to get to 60 against most Big East teams
