I can't believe I can't call him Barney anymore. What a disappointment! I guess I could call him Hillbilly Bob or something like that. It really is going to suck seeing him come into 5/3 or playing against us every year. I hope all of the guys who keep predicting we are going to get some of these players like McClain and Gates are right. Mick is going to need these guys.

For what it is worth I would much rather have Mick then Huggs but I will miss Bob's winning ways. He just finds a way to do it right or wrong. I love winning.

I don't think "Hillbilly Bob" would be appropriate at all. Poor choice of words. The people of WV are very good folks indeed.

Mick will get his share of good players. Darnell Wilks is a rising star in 2008 class.

MC averages 20 W per season in his brief college career. BH averages 23 W per season in a much longer career. Not that much different in W averages.

I'm not a Huggs guy but you can't even begin to compare the two. Micks wins are against a lot easier competition. I guess they will be easy to judge now since they both play in the same conference.

Actually you can compare MC as a young coach to Huggs at Akron. Very similar numbers.

I disagree there too... Mick inherited a Murray State team that was already the class of the OVC... Huggs took over a doormat and turned them around very quickly. That's not to take anything away from mick, but I'd say Bob's achievements at Akron were more impressive than Mick's at Murray...

Of course my ultimate hope, and really the only thing that matters...is that mick's accomplishments at UC will be greater than Bob's. And with being in the Big East.... having better recruits to choose from, and great facilities he has all the pieces in place to do just that.
