Angelo Johnson commited to USC today so you can scratch him off the 2008 PG wishlist. I will try and be as concise as I can with recruiting stuff in my future posts but I can't reveal sources. Only that the information as I receive is accurate and on good authority, is that good enough?

It's good enough for me. I'm probably in the few, but I like when you say that someone is coming to town...it gives me a chance to look for players on campus when I'm walking from class to class.

He respects private information when it is given. Would that others do so.

The "Interest Level" number on the Recruiting page is a key. If it bumps to 4 or 5 level, I take that as information that UC has a strong chance to land the player, based on private information.

I think you do know them. That's what I said - he knows them, too.

I think that IKnowMoreThanYou is someone who really does know more than I do. My GUESS is that he is someone that works for the University, is close to the University or works for a recruiting service or something like that. This is a place where he (or she I guess) can post rumors and things heard without the penalties of being wrong.

A lot of people have been asking for information on McClain and recruits and he does provide things. I do agree that the vague "someone is going to commit" emails are rough, but when he posts something specific take it for what it is worth. I say let him (her) post them and if you don't like what his thoughts are then ignore him (or her) by going to User CP.

My guess is he works for BCL (UC Rivals). Nothing wrong with that at all. Information costs $100 a year there (and elsewhere). It's free here at BN.

Did you see his rating? 1-star on Scout, 2 on Rivals. Sounds like a great player. Perhaps he's just like a preferred walk-on or something
