Went to the draft party this afternoon at the Lindner Center. Unfortunately the weather was really bad but it was nice to be able to talk one on one with most of the coaching staff. They also passed out the Red and Black team rosters for Bearcat Bowl next Saturday!
It was interesting to talk with the assistant coaches, most of their families are still in Michigan waiting to sell their homes. All of them had nothing but great things about the city and they are looking forward to raising their children in Cincinnati.
Coach Kelly was right on par with most of the comments we have heard him say in the papers about building the program and the attitude of winning. Sounds like the team is making great progress but I think the real fun with the offense won't arrive for another year or so...
