Ok, off the topic question... In tonight’s game, one of there players went down on a foul (wasn’t that hard of a foul)... Player went out, and they brought in a 91% free throw shooter. Not by any means am I saying he was faking the injury, but does anyone else have a problem with this rule? I mean basically you go out for a play and can come right back in.

When Belton got fouled in tonight’s game, part of me was saying go down, lets bring out a trainer and bring in a 80% free throw shooter. I just think this rule is a joke, and can easily used in ill manner.

I see what you're saying, but Dyson was the player who went down with injury and he was money in the bank all night from the line. I'm sure Calhoun is fine when Dyson is shooting FT's.

Yeah, Mick needs to tell Belton to take a dive and get hurt when he gets fouled to go to the line late in the game. ;)

until its obvious someone facts an injury im fine with it just becuase from a refs standpoint your not expecting an injury your expecting the person fouled to take it..it doesnt happen much and tonight it didnt matter who they sent to the line they were money..even their 7'3'' center made them all..

Dyson was sitting on 20 points when he went out

The rule is fine. You can put in whomever you want. If you put in a 95% free throw shooter and thats all he can do, then you either deal with what he gives you/lacks on the court or have to burn a time out to sub.

Or you have him foul since it doesn't matter if he is on the court. I have a problem with the rule. You should only be able to use a player in the game. If you have a SG in the game who can shoot 95% then there it is.

You guys are looking to much into the example I gave... Trust me I would have rather had the 91% shooter then dyson who was lights out all night....

Im just talking about the rule in general, and there seems to be ways that it can be worked in an advantage.. Thats why i have a problem with it...

Lets get some players in acting classes, and we could be the highest shooting free throw team in the country!! jk

In the context of last night's game though, that would have put us back at the line.
