Uhhhh... Rutgers lost to the ST. PETER'S PEACOCKS this season.

A loss to this team is inexcusable, especially with a week to prepare (and they play Wednesday).

Don't really think we need to point fingers at the other teams bad losses. All we need to do is look in the mirror. This is a winnable game but definately not a gimme. I do like that we have a week to prepare. I wonder what the points will look like in Vegas.

I would venture to guess that Rutgers has improved since that loss, especially since they beat Pitt at Pitt. I wonder if they feel the same about UC, as we lost to Belmont and BG at home. For a inexperienced, inconsistent team like UC, no road game is a gimme, and no road loss should be considered inexcusable.

As the talking heads like to point out, "it's hard to win at the RAC"

Based on games that I have watched this season at least, about the only team that the current Bearcats can arguably "expect" to beat is South Florida, everybody else has enough players especially on their home court to be a challenge for Mick and the guys.

Another thought to ponder...

This week is extremely rare in the world of D1 college basketball. Having a full week in between games in the middle of conference play is almost never heard of. When you only have three days in between games (for example) you have about enough time to spend one day correcting the things you did wrong yesterday, one game preparing for the next team, and one day traveling & working on fundamentals (shooting, etc)

In this case...the Bearcats have had the chance to spend time working on other things. Such as getting other people into the mix, running new plays, etc. I will be curious to see if any of the newcomers got any "new" opportunities that they were able to take advantage of. For example - is it possible we will see more of Wilks vs. Rutgers?

I don't have any insider information. Merely proposing a theory.

It's a homecoming for Bishop. I hope he does well for his NJ connections.

I'd like to see Mitchell and Davis play well.....and see Bishop have a 10 point game.

I'll take Mick Cronin with a week to prepare anyday.

i hope so, Wilks has such a high upside, he's like a 6-8 version of Melvin Levitt.....once he gets his weight up and confidence, he's gotta be a lock to be in the rotation everynight......
