I think that next years starting lineup will be...
pg Jamual Warren
sg Deonta Vaughn
sf Marcus Sikes
pf Mike Williams
c Adam H.
6th man John Williamson- i like him coming off the bench but maybe him and sikes could switch in..cronin will have a lot of options next year
2008-2009 season
pg Deonta Vaughn
sg Alvin Mitchell
sf Jason Henry
pf Mike Williams
c Anthony Mcclain if he signs if not Kenny Belton
6th man Rashad Bishop but heck who knows what cronin will come up with so this whole lineup is just guessing maybe evn gates will start who knows
my question now is Deonta Vaughn a Point Guard or not? and can Alvin Mithcell, Jason Henry, Kenny Belton, Rashad Bishop, Kenny Belton, Larry Davis and hopefully Anthony Mcclain recieve lots of playing time?

I don't completely agree with those lineups, just because there is a couple of " big ifs" until next year. But most experts claim that Bishop is ready to step in right away and Henry is a Big Time Talent (if eligible). I feel some of these Freshman will be in the starting lineup at some time this season. Either way, it good to have depth.

I would have Williamson in there over Sikes, he just puts out a better effort then Sikes. We really won't need Sikes outside shooting because Henry, Mitchell, Davis and Vaughn will be firing from the outside. Look for McClain to start over Adam if he signs. If not, with the way Mick likes to run we will probably see alot of 3 guards and 2 forward lineups.
pg - Warren
SG - Vaughn
Sg - Henry
PF - Williams
Pf - Williamson
If McClain signs
PG - Warren
SG - Vaughn
C - McClain (Maybe Adam and Sikes start the first game just because there seniors)
SF - Henry
PF - Williamson - Williams will have to take this spot from Williamson
For 08 I would think Gates would be in there over Belton if McClain doesn't sign. Everything else I agree with.

I tend to think Warren will start at PG, but won't be on the court at the end of the game. I don't know that Vaughn is a PG...but i feel like at least next year he'll be forced to play it a lot.
PG Warren
SG Vaughn
SF Henry(though eligability is an issue)
PF Williamson
PF WIlliams
Hopefully we get McClain... if so he will start
Also this is all likely to change after watching the new guys

You have to start Williamson due to the effort he gives. I think Vaughn has the ability to be a point guard, it will be interesting to see how much he improves this year.

If we get McClain...
C McClain/Hyranciuk
PF Williams/Sykes/Belton
SF Williamson/Henry/Bishop
SG Mitchell/Davis/Gentry
G Vaughn/Warren/Crowell
One has to go if we get McClain. There are a few players that can play more than one position too.

Good assessment of talent vs. position. Out of this array I would like to see a starting lineup of:
PG Vaughn
SG Mitchell
PF Williams
SF Williamson
C McClain
