Does anybody know what's going on with Alvin Mitchell? Anybody have any insight on why he was suspended, what he's up to and if he's participating in anything with the team?

I'm not looking for gossip. I'd just like to know where a young guy with a ton of potential stands with the our Bearcats.

on sunday at the withrow game him, rashad bishop, biggie, and darnell wilks were all sitting together when at about halftime assistant coach larry davis talked to him for about 45 mins. idk wat that was all about but it was more of larry talkin and alvin listening so there might be something goin on

I hope he stays as well, but it seems Cornin is making it clear that he needs to follow the rules or he can't be on the team. Something UC has not seen in a long time...

Hey New UC girl,

what are you talking about? And why would you say this?

I can name about a couple off the top of my head that were given similar lessons in the very near past, and others who were kicked off the team in the near past... Roy Bright, Donald Little

Huggs was KNOWN for doing this...
"I can only coach the players that are here"

Why would you say this is something UC hasn't seen in a long time?

3 years ago to some people is a long time. Especially to the younger crowd.

Those two guys were ineligible, it wasn't a coach's decision.

The exact reason for Mitchell's suspension can be summarized as follows (paraphrasing a quote from the movie, "A Few Good Men").

"The players follow rules or they don't play. It's that simple."

We can speculate all we went about the exact reason but at the end of the day, we will never find this out.

Right- just like I said, it's not the same situation. It is not following the rules though, like the post I was referring to mentions.

I think if he hasn't left school by now then he intends to return once his problems are resolved.

Good. If we don't know, the UC bashing journalists won't know and it won't be published all over. He must of broke one of Mick's rules and Mick dealt with it without the press.
