Is the sports animal package $200 for the whole faimily? I have a wife and three kids (3, 5, 9). That is a pretty good deal if that is the case.

The 1530 Homer Family Plan is 4 tickets (in sections 108/109, I think) for $199.

Long-time lurker...first time post.

My understanding is that you can add additional tickets to the family pack. When you purchase the tickets you are asked how many you need. Normally children's season tickets go fo $60 (I think) - so wrost case scenario I would think the package would be $259.

I purchased mine a couple of weeks ago. Two nights ago I got a phone call from one of the players (Jason Whitehead - redshirt Freshman DB) thanking me for the purchase and inviting me to the Bearcat Bowl this weekend. I thought it was a nice touch.

I received that call as well, even though I won't be in the area this weekend. I thought it was a nice gesture. The team and the athletic department have really gone out of their way this off-season to show appreciation to season ticket holders.

I didn't know additional tickets can be added to the family plan. That's a great touch and I would like to see that advertised some more.

I heard Coach Kelly on Lance's show on 1360 yesterday (very good two segment interview) and he mentioned that many of the players manned phone banks to call new season ticket holders. Don't think they called "old" ticket holders as I did not get a call.

They were scheduled to do this again last night.

I have 15 yards of mulch in my driveway and was not planning on going Sat. night, but after hearing coach Kelly, I am thinking about quitting with the outdoor work around 4 and cleaning up and taking the family down. Coach will be mic'd, the fans will occasionally get to decide if the next play is run or pass (by holding up placards and I bet they choose pass every time!). It sounds like it will be a lot of fun. It won't be offense vs. defense but they will actually divide into two teams.

They are calling some of the longtime ticket holders, too,at least in my case.
I had Trevor Anderson on my voice mail when I got home Wednesday, and I
personally spoke with Ben Guidugli Thursday evening. Excellent for marketing
the program. Can't wait for Saturday!

Wow that is a great idea! Really cool. Okay, what is section 108/109? Is that endzone?

Sort of the endzone. I sit on the aisle of 110 (next to 109). 108 and 109 are on the Shoe side of Nippert wrapping around the corner of the south endzone going out to about the 10 yard line.

That is rough, but close enough to hopefully give you the idea.

Time to change Bearcat coverage to 1460. They really seem to try to pump up UC.

Definitely, then all of 30 people will be able to pick up the broadcasts...

I have satalite radio so I can get them on the Big East package. I know it will not happen, but 700 isn't the best venue for UC.

Do you have to be 2 adults and 2 children to sit in the family section?

To get UC sports out to the most people it is. There is no comparison. Yes, it sucks when they get knocked to a different network due to Reds games, but moving to a low power station would do nothing but hurt UC athletics on the radio.
