Taking everything into consideration, what are you going to remember from this year? This years been tough, but we have had some highlights. What will you take away and remember, and more so, what will this season be remember as?
Personally, I am going to remember the first Pittsburg game, the Louisville game, the West Virginia game, Vaughn trading threes vs. Pittsburg in the tourney, and of course, Huggins ridiculous outfit (really, what was he thinking?)

Losing to Belmont and Bowling Green...
Beating Louisville/'Nova/Pitt
Losing to UCONN by a million
Still not winning a Big east tourny game...a disappointing finish.

I will remember vaughn carrying this team and giving us glimpses of how good he can/will be with just a big of help.

The only game I was able to go to, when I was home for Thanksgiving, vs Fairfield...
Darnell Wilks caught the ball on the baseline behind the arc, and dribbled ONCE..then planted and glided in for a 2-handed dunk
And... same game... Rashad caught the ball on a break with one guy back and he did a sweeeeeet spin move and lay-in

What will I remember from this year. Hopefully, nothing. The sooner it is forgotten, the better.

I will def remember that Cronin and the bearcats beat both Louisville and WVU this year which for Cornin was a BIG DEAL! I think he is doing and will do great things for UC... its just a shame the season ended so rough...

1) Vaughn clapping his hands after his 43rd three against UCONN, that was awesome.
2) Beating Loserville
3) Williamsons Pick on Lavender
4) Being disappointed and excited everytime Biggie got the ball.
5) Missed Layups

Ok......I'll play.
It was like the only dunk (more or less) by our centers. Let me set it up:
Biggie got the ball, and dunked it. Practically historic. (sarcasm rules!)

I'll play too. Maybe I'm getting older......but I don't think I'll remember much. I hope I remember the first two years of the MC era as a blur of a Mick-Cronin-rebuilding-project-era-that-got-on-track-year-three. One can only hope...
I hope I have not seen the best of the Freshman (reason would say we have not)
I hope I have not seen the best of Vaughn (I want to think he will be remembered as the #2 all-time scorer in UC history, which means we have two more really good years yet to come)
I hope the wait for Williams is worth it
I hope I have a reason to watch the BE tourney on Thurs, Fri & Sat next year.
I hope for a lot of things...
But mostly I hope I remember the past two seasons EXACTLY like I remember the last two seasons of the Tony Yates era......which is to say hardly at all.

I will remember the fact that the team had 6 more Big East wins than last year and that significant progress was made. I look forward to at least 19 total wins and 10 B.E. wins next year.

I will remember the shouts on this forum that rolled like this: Seasons start-"Mick can't coach!"....Middle of Season-"Mick is an awesome coach. He really has this team overachieving!!"
Seriously, I'll remember a group of overmatched kids that laid their heart on the court to bring back U.C. basketball to all of us who nit pick and criticize them while they do it. I will remember the seniors. They got a better offer by playing in Cincinnati under the circumstances than they ever would have normally but in return they helped us compete when many thought it'd be years before that happened. I will remember the 24 wins in two seasons and be thankful for the contribution they made to the program I love and have followed for 35 years. I will look back and see they laid the foundation for future success.
