The enquirer said this puts us at 13 scholarships
Assuming all the incoming freshman come (IE HENRY)
what current players either leaves or is not on scholarship next year?

Top of my head i think crowell, he is a hustler but is expendable

I assume Crowell, but if Henry is ineligible, then the problem takes care of itself

I'm assuming Crowell, but with the lack of a true point guard he might actually prove himself valuable from time to time, if he has improved any that is.

I wouldn't be surprised if Henry or Bishop don't have the grades to play next year. I really hate for someone to have their scholorship taken away especially when it will probably be a juco in his last year.

Question.....IF someone (maybe Crowell) agreed to give up their scholarship, why could they not still remain as a walk-on? Also, could the school give this person an "academic" scholarship for a year, so as to not hurt them too bad?

Justin - that is what I heard was going to happen, but most of the academic scholorships don't cover as much as the athletics.

I have heard that it can happen, but I think that it is something that is scary for the NCAA. How do you determine who can get an academic scholorship (high school, JUCO, college grades?), are high school and JUCO players treated the same, etc.?

It was already reported earlier today that Crowell is transferring to a Div 2 school for his senior year.
