New UCATS pledge forms just arrived

Well. The new forms just arrived hot off the presses. It looks like they couldn't decide to do much of anything, so they just gave everyone a cursory bump up in cost and called it a day. For hoops, tier 1 went from 3500 to 4200. Tier 2 from 2500 to 3000. Tier 3 and 4 got a 10% bump. and tier 5 stayed the same.

Looks like another year of rounding up the usual suspects. Seems a tad much considering they haven't exactly been putting out a winning product and I don't think they sold out a game all last year. The empty chairs next to me probably won't pay the increase since they didn't pay last year either.

The "bump" of which you post is as put forth at the meetings, a 20% increase for tier 1 & 2. What you failed to mention is that if you have 6 seats instead of 4 seats the bump is 80%. If you have 6 seats in tier 1 it goes from $3,500 to $6,300, if you have 6 seats in tier 2 it goes from $2,500 to $4,500.

Frankly, they should boost the cost of the premier tickets more than they did. The bottom line is you are putting up 4k to be lower level courtside, and 2k to be upper level, way way way upper level. Upper level seats at the Shoe are not the greatest compared to other facilities I've been to. I'm prettry sure that courtside for a pair at U of L is a lot more than what they charge at UC.

you'll have better seats and still get to go to every game
and pay way way way less.

I hate to admit it but I have given a mild amount of thought to doing that for many years, (even before the events that have us so divided) but I alway pony up in the end.

Actually my beef has nothing to do with Z or BH or Mick, it has to do how we were handled when the Shoe originally opened up. But that is another story and much has been forgotten.
