Or WVU ;) (I had a "team pull" bracket, and of all the teams... I pulled WVU. LOL)

Xavier played outstanding defense for the final 10 minutes. Their D won them the game.

It's funny you actually said you didn't hate huggins.. LOL
You are fun to laugh at at least.

Go Arizona!

Unfortunately, Arizona did not win the game...we can take solace in the fact that WVU will get blown out against Duke if past patterns hold. This will help re-set the tourney field more appropriately, since WVU obviously stole UC's tourney bid this season.

It's not hard to figure out. I could care less if you laugh at UC's misfortunes, but again, it shows your true colors.

I attended every game of the 3-win season under coach Yates. I saw them lose to Illinois-Chicago Circle (a technical college!). Their center wore horn-rimmed glasses and ran down the court slower than my arthritic dog. His name was Viloff.

They HANDLED UC that night!

You draw the line incorrectly--it's not UC or BH. It's pro-Z or anti-Z. The second Nancy leaves or retires, I'll be back in the Shoe with bells on.

I know you love Nancy--but she is anti-alumni and anti-faculty. I'm both an alumnus and a faculty member--as a result, I'm anti-Nancy.

I love UC, not NZ. If she left I would not be upset one bit.

Way to stick it to Nancy by not going to games. She is probably grossly insulted by this. (extreme sarcasm)

Dude--this is what you don't understand...it's not just eschewing games...it's not supporting the University in ANY WAY until she leaves.

I love this University. I've been affiliated with it for 30 years (over half my lifetime!). As such, I've seen lots of changes, good and bad. During all that time, I've never seen someone as ham-handed and ignorant at PR as Nancy. It's also the 1st time I can recall that a group to which I belong has been denigrated on the public stage by someone who is supposed to be working FOR the University population.

I HATE Nancy because of what she has done and what she has said.

Therefore I want her to leave ASAP.

The only way to do that is to stop supporting the school in any fashion--if the financial situation accelerates her departure...then I'll be happy.

There's an adage that sums it up: "you've got to be cruel to be kind"

I can bide my time--She's old.

I'm not.

There are plenty of other candidates for University president that could do a better job than Nancy.

I'll wait for that individual and keep my self-respect in the meantime.

It's convrrl, or something like that, isn't it?

Either way, saying you love the University but choosing not to support it just doesn't make too much sense. Also, I know you have commented on games in the past year, so how many games have you actually watched?

Hmmm. Perhaps you remember the night with Bank, Starks and Robinson where the band got a T against Brooklyn College because we got to close to ref while yelling at him.

I had to stop watching games after she insulted my degrees and blew up the basketball program--before that..I NEVER MISSED A GAME.

I've been to Honolulu, Puerto Rico, and even cogitated Italy and Brazil (too expensive). I've travelled to Louisville, Chicago, St. Louis, New Orleans and Memphis to watch games--broke me up when they lost...loved it when they won.

I like my University--I hate the fact that it is being led by an administration of such low caliber. Once that changes....I'll be back.

How about the loss to the UMKC Kangaroos! They had a bald-headed guard with a yellow headband--ate us alive that night! Their unis were yellow & black as I recall...

Well convrrl, at least now we know to ignore you if you make any attempt to criticize this team considering you have watched them play ZERO times.

Look VERY CAREFULLY at my posts...I have NEVER criticized this TEAM OR ITS COACH. I have criticized Nancy and the administration.

And look carefully at mine. I said "If" you choose to criticize Mick and the program.

It does raise the question to why, for someone that does not support the University in any way and does not watch any UC sporting events, do they spend time on a UC sports message board?

While I can appreciate your love of Huggs I do say quit posting here if you are not even a watching or following the teams. Spend your time writing Nancy and the Board and try to get her fired.
