Josh Katzowitz over at the Cincinnati Post has answered our question Crowell is out. He said he would have more to come later. Here is the link.

Not a big surprise there.

That's too bad. I would have liked to see him stay somehow. He came to help rebuild the program and I wish he could have stayed long enough to see the improvement.

Crowell hustled all over and I believe will never get the credit he deserved, dont get me wrong he can not play at this level. I wonder if Mick told him this is a 1 year thing or Crowell realized he was the 14th man off the bench. I am really interested in hearing Mick and how this all went down. I appreciate Tims time and effort and hopefully he will continue and earn a degree, that would be really nice.

I just read that Aaron on the thread "who is out" say that Crowell is transferring to a DII school which is great news to hear. I hope that is true and I am sure he will do very well there.

It's on the official UC web site:

Crowell issued this statement according to Josh over at the Posts website

"I have decided to transfer to a Division II school for my senior season," said Crowell. "I had a great experience as a Bearcat and love my teammates. I wish the team great success next year and want to thank the people of Cincinnati for their kindness; I have really loved my time here."

Sounds like he left on good terms, which is very good to see.

Lance has a really nice story as well with comments from Mick on Tim Crowells decision to transfer.
