Damn, what a fabulous outing for Cueto. The bullpen tried to blow it, but I think they (collectively) proved they can work under pressure, even if they're the ones that caused it.

I know it's a pretty pointless title to bestow upon someone, but that's gotta be among the greatest debuts in Reds history, if not the best.

Alot of times when you see a rookie come out and dominate another team, it can be attributed to it being the first time the batters have faced him. His second time through the league is the best judge of a players potential. That said, this Cueto guy is something special. He has the type of stuff that should baffle hitters for years to come. The way he controls the strike zone is something rarely seen in young pitchers...I am excited as **** for this guy! I think the Reds have a gem with Cueto!!!

First time in modern Reds history (since 1900) that someone had 10 or more strikeouts in his first major league game.

The fans will start coming to games, especially if Volquez is as good as advertised.
Keep winning.

With all due respect to Mr. Cueto, this is not a reds board.
