LOI's

Is there any word on the new recruits signing their LOI's? I haven't seen anything definitive that anyone in the late period has sent in their paperwork. Anyone know what the hold up may be?

Rivals has something on the Bearcat's mainpage that says that we have recieved one LOI and are waiting on the other two and something about 'Is someone having second thoughts,' or something like that. I think they are just trying to get people to buy to read the information though and there probably isnt anything to it.

Just speculation, I am positive Dion Dixon has signed. I am sure Toyloy is signing due to his coaches comments. Ward was recruited hard my Kentucky but I am not sure if there is any reason to believe he wont sign.

It would seem not to make any sense that Ward has not signed because he committed after Dixon had committed and Mick brought in no other guards after Ward committed. Ward knew what guards were here when he committed, so why verbal only to back out later. To me it would seem like Dixon may be the one wavering because Ward verbaled after him. Just my opinion.

Or it could be they are playing ball on the road and need their parents signature to send the paperwork.

I find it hard to believe no one knows what is going on with them no turning in their letters of intent. Someone give us the details please.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mick waits and announces them all at once. So the announcement will come after the last one arrives, even though a few may already be in house.

That's interesting. If true I wonder which side backed off. Did Ward receive a better offer as jeffto alluded to? Or maybe did Aldridge threaten to leave if he had to walk on again, so Mick had to pull someone's offer? Or is this another case of an AAU coach saying one thing and then in a week from now, Ward signs?
