I just finished watching the race. David Payne finished 3rd to qualify for Beijing. Congrats, David!

My son got to spend a little time with David several years back when they were both helping out at the summer track camp sponsored by UC. My son, Daren, tells me David is a really good guy. I'm really happy for him! :)

I went to high school with him and can confirm what your son said - he's a great guy. We're all very proud that he made it.
