I'm glad for the change, I did not realize how pompous and callous Packer has been.
Good read at http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/25675767/

Gus Johnson should get that spot, but Kellogg is much better than Packer.
Edit: I obviously don't know much about announcing since Johnson has the same role as Nantz and he isn't vacating that anytime soon.

I know Packer has done the job for many years and became the 'face' of the TOurney, but really this is going to be a good move. Billy Packer today just isn't doing the same job he did 10 years ago. Don't know if he is arrogant and pompous or just forgot to keep doing the little things that one time made him good. Personally, time to step back and look at the job I am doing to see if I have grown too secure in my work habits...Hope we can all learn a good lesson here and grow.

Billy Packer is a jerk who sounds like he's having a heart attack everytime he gets excited.

Al Maguire is who made Billy Packer. Once he lost AL, Packer had nothing.

Kellogg is boring..at least you can 'hate on' Packer while watching the game.

Maybe Nantz should stick to golf. I'd like to see Gus Johnson and Clark Kellogg. That's a game call.
