In Micks first comments he said that John and his gaurdian agree that he is on a 3 year plan if everthing goes smoothly. That is nice to hear and it makes me feel OK with him sitting for the majority of this season if not all. Mick also said he isnt dumb and given Johns family situation that if he has a chance to go pro and make money for his family then he will strongly recommend him to do so. 3 Years would be really really nice. Mick will be on 1530 sometime between 3 and 6 to talk to Lance about John today.

I noticed in the article posted on the front page that Riek signed a Financial Aid Agreement. I'm assuming based on this that he is not on scholarship and Nick Aldridge has the scholly still.

You would be wrong. That is just the term used when someone signs after the LOI date. Riek will be on scholarship.
