Hoard mentioned today on 1530 Homer that both of these guys were on campus recently. How great would it be to have Teague commit along with Chane!!!!!!!
Hoard also mentioned that Yancy is a "Genetic Freak", and he also called him the "Anti-Adam H"........Not sure about you guys but i'm so excited about this upcoming year.

I love Dan Hoard, and there's very few players I despised more then Adam H. in terms of contributing to the team, but I don't think taking shots at him is necessary.

Teague would be an awesome addition, but it is still wayyyy early and everyone is on him. Do Teague and Behanan know each other from AAU ball? Just wondering why they were on campus together, or if it was just a regular unofficial visit.

I don't think it was a coincidence that Chane just happened to be there the same time Teague was. Mick probably knew Teague would be there, so I'm guessing he asked Chane to be there so it could help in Teague's recruitment because good players want to play with other good players. I'm not sure if they know each other through AAU ball or not.
We have a lot of scholarships to give in '11 so somehow getting Teague to somehow commit early would be insane with Chane in the wings too. I hope we can get Teague to leave the state of Indiana with IU and Purdue being involved and Wake Forest might be tough to beat out because his brother Jeff players there

His brother plays there but more than likely, since Marquis is only a sophomore in high school, they wouldn't actually be playing together. I believe Jeff is going to be a junior at Wake this year so I really don't think the draw to Wake is going to be so strong unless he really just likes the school. I don't think his brother will have anything to do with it outside of being familiar with the coaches and program.

But still his parents probably like Wake Forest, and like you stated, are familiar with the coaching staff and school. And I'm sure he follows his brother's games and in turn probably is a fan of their program.
Also Louisville will be tough to beat out because Pitino coached Teague's dad at Boston U I believe.

Teague rumored to be headed to IU for an unofficial visit to IU this weekend and Crean watched him play. I'd find it hard to believe if he chose UC over IU/Purdue

Sometimes kids want to do their own thing and shun what other people think they should do, such as play for their home state name college (IU) or other big college in state (Purdue), nor do they want to follow in their siblings footsteps at a certain college..............
If I were a parent, I'd tell them to go where they are most comfortable, and don't listen to anyone else.

As a parent and alum, if my kids are good enough to be considered by UC - then UC is where they are going, period. I do understand that your comment is taking into consideration no UC bias, but there are biases in nearly all of life's decisions. This kid's dad went to Boston and two brothers played at major schools. I hope the kid bucks the family influence and bias that is there, but I do not expect him to get unbiased advice.
He would be a major get along with Chane.

Really? You would force your kid to go to UC because that is where you went? That's pretty bad. I hope I misunderstood you.
My kid would definitely have a bias because he would probably grow up rooting for them, but in now way, shape or form would I decide that for him.

Can someone help me understand this???
How is it that he was able to observe their first full-squad workout? I thought they weren't able to do this until mid-October. Is this a poor choice of words on his part...or a lack of understanding on my part?
Did schedules/rules change and I missed it?

Quit defending Adam H. He had a ton of shortcomings, and yes, he worked hard and I applaud him for that.. but Yancy will be SLAM DUNKING 2 footers instead of throwing them off the backboard without jumping and not even hitting the rim. THAT is what Hoard meant.
Too sensitive Bearcat Rob 33. Get over it.

You are allowed to have a certain number of hours worth of workouts/practice time before midnight madness. It is a limited number of hours. It is the same loophole that allowed UK this year to move their midnight madness up a week before everyone else's. Sorry for being so vague here, I don't know the exact specifications of the rule, but this is the gist of it.

You obviously aren't too bright, are you? It's either that, or you can't read very well.
I'm not defending Adam H., and nothing I said should make you think that. My point is that there's no need to bring him up again, because it's done with.
Does that make sense, or do I need to dumb it down some more for you?

So, you don't think taking shots at Adam H. is necessary, but you say on a public forum that you despise him...that is taking a shot.

No, I wasn't taking a shot, I was pointing out that I agreed with him, but that it wasn't necessary to bring it up.

FWIW they had an interview with his parents when they were on campus last weekend over on the Rivals site.
