I think every player should sign up for the draft after their freshman year! :confused: If they blossom in any year after not being picked, they would be free agents like Randolf Morris. There is a huge gap in being fair to the students and being fair to the university. This way, kids who don't exactly blossom can be paid to forfeit their senior year and 'sign a free agent deal' with any employer i.e. booster who wants to clear a scholarship spot for the next coming of Oden,:D

Seriously, kids should be allowed to transfer without sitting out a year if their coach is fired. Kids should be allowed to transfer without sitting out if the coach resigns or takes another job (but not to the coach's new school unless they sit for a year ala Buford). In retrun for giving the players these 'concessions', a dollar figure needs to be added to the LOI (a contract) that if the kid leaves before 3 year they pay an exhorbant amount of money. I mean, how does baseball get away with their three year rule - I don't understand it all.
