As if we needed another reason to have concern this year, at least one writer is speculating the Big East this year may be the best conference ever. The article does not even mention UC.
Let's hope all the talent gels before conference play.

I am glad no mention of UC. This team needs to stay under the radar for awhile.

When predicting who would win the AL East during Spring training this year no one mentioned the Tampa Bay Rays.

When predicting who would win the NFL AFC North division, no one mentioned the Cincinnati Bengals.
Oops. Guess that's a bad comparison. ;)

whose radar? I am sure the coaches will not overlook UC. Therefore, the radar is media and fans, and hopefully top recruits. I would rather be on that radar. Hopefully soon.

whose radar? I am sure the coaches will not overlook UC. Happens all the time. Probably more so by the players. There will always be an "overconfidence" factor when higher rated teams face UC, no matter what the coaches do or say. That's how a lot of good teams get beat. Let's hope UC will surprise a few teams this year. As soon as we beat Memphis, Conn and G-town, we won't be under anybody's radar.

Actually they did, a few sports experts did pick the Bengals based on Carson Palmer being the best QB in the conference, they did not expect him to go down for the season.

Louisville and Marquette have been able to compete favorably.
No more excuses for UC. The team is talented and deep.
The coaches need to W now. Not someday.

The coaches need to W now. Not someday. Are the coaches eligible now? Last I heard the players have to do it and our players are still very GREEN.

Huh! The best league ever? Hard to top 1985, the year the BEast had 3 of the final 4 (Villanova - Nat champs, Georgetown, St. John's - the 4th team was Memphis, out of the Metro)

I can see UC, with John Reik, Georgetown, UConn, and Notre Dame as the 2009 Final 4.
