I'm not so sure he's in Florida rehabbing. I'm not sure what he looks like so won't say I've seen first hand (I have my suspicions though), but I'm pretty sure others have reported sight of him at our games. Maybe they're mistaken though. Anyone?

He was at one of the games, but I think he was just visiting. I would think he'll be coming up in the next few weeks since he should be enrolling in December.

He starts to play in January and makes the Bearcats national title contenders. He is 7'2" and maybe 275lbs fo 280lbs. He is one impressive mass of humanity and should scare the bejebees out of any opposing player entering the lane.

I'm not sure about practice, but last I heard is he wouldn't be playing until January at the earliest due to his knee. I can't imagine he'll be able to come in and start playing without at least a few weeks of practice.

He will not be able to play until the winter quarter begins in January because he is not enrolled for the fall quarter. I believe that if he shows up prior to January, he will be allowed to practice. I hope that he does come soon to start working with the team in the weight room and on the court.

I like Ralph's enthusiasm but I do not feel that John will make this team a national title contender this year. I like our chances a whole lot better next year. I do think that John has the ability to make this team a lock for a NCAA tourney bid (barring any unforseen injuries).

Agreed. And maybe if John is healthy and productive and the team stays healthy and improves he can help us make a surprise Sweet 16 or even Elite Eight run, assuming we get in, since he would help UC avoid matchup problems. But that would take a lot of luck and hot play.

If that were the case then incoming freshmen wouldn't be able to play Bearcat football. He will be able to play and practice when he is enrolled for winter quarter AND fall quarter is over....hence the Dec 13th date depends on when he enrolls (and of course clears the clearinghouse).

I'm all for a " Meet the Ralph meeting" for local UC fans. Count me in if it happens. I'm sure Ralph and I would have a lot in common. Even looking over the fat boy under 30 crowd would be interesting. The fat boys have an edge because while guys like me were playing sports all the time they were hitting the books!
