Taken from another thread

I took a look at the (Deveroes Summer League) website (http://www.greatercincinnatisportsworld.com/deveroes/devo.htm) and I noticed they have Van Exel and Blount listed as playing this year. It would be nice to see Nick there again. I remember he played for a year or two after he was drafted, I guess now that he is retired, he has a little more free time.

I wish the site would list what players are on each team. I would assume that most if not all the recruits will play for Slats along with a few vets and then some of the others will be spread out on some of the other teams.

I'd be surprised if the "Legends Past" actually pulls off a team with those listed players. Louis Orr, as a college coach, would have possible NCAA violations if he plays with/against JUCO recruits. Ron Harper may be breaking an NBA rule about 'contacting' NCAA players. Others would be more likely.

Williamson wont be playing and Sikes will possibly miss a few weeks.

Is Williamson still nursing his bad knees, or is there some other reason for his absence?

What would limit Sikes' appearances?

I thought somebody said that they saw Williamson walking around on crutches the other day. I'm guessing it has something to do with his bad knees which worries me about his production next season.

John Williamson had surgery on his knee(s), not sure which, but yes he is on crutches right now. Sikes, IIRC, has an ankle problem.
