He is having one of his best games right now in the nba playoffs tonight. 11 points so far, 5 reb, 2 blocks, and 1 steal and yet its not halftime. He is having a great game just like he always did for the Bearcats. :)

Per ESPN:
Thursday's Best
Pistons forward Jason Maxiell: Max gave well beyond the minimum. Sheed was the hero, but Maxiell's 15 points, six boards and two blocks were huge in 21 minutes of action.

JMax is a "WINNER" (not "loser" like Greg Oden) in Yahoo's Summer League:
"Jason Maxiell, Detroit Pistons – Maxiell came to Vegas in great shape and played great. He looked comfortable both with his back to the basket and stepping out to shoot jumpers, averaging 15 points and five rebounds while shooting over 54 percent. Detroit's young players should help the team's depth and chances to win the East next season. "

He's been a winner all along. Picked UC over Kentucky (his final 2 schools) in fall of 2000. Played 4 solid years (better each year) at UC. Sometimes out of position at C. Graduated a quarter early. 1st round NBA draft pick. Never a whiff of off-the-court trouble. Never complained, never got a T in games or practice.

He looks quick and is moving without the ball very well from the limited looks on TV.
