I think it is. I think UC needs to win today and next week against Xavier.
In fact, at this point, the only remaining OOC game I would expect to lose is AT MEMPHIS, mainly because it's away and we don't play well down there.
2 OOC losses is all this team can handle (11-2). If they go .500 or better in the Big East, they make the Big Dance (9-9 or 10-8). Final record of 20-11 or 21-10. Their rpi should be good enough at that point and we won't be worrying about the bubble.

I agree it is a big game today, but think they have to win either this game, or the Xavier game. Losing to a top #14 team (X) by itself will not keep the Cats out of the Dance if everything else you say happens.

Would be fine. NCAA bid maybe, maybe not.

2 Big home games. We need'em both and we need big games from Rashad and Yancey. These two games should really let us know what kind of team we have.

We have to win games like these if we want to make the NIT. Otherwise, it's another year like last with whatever the **** that tournament was called.
I wouldn't call it a must win. But getting the win would show the progress the program is or is not making. UAB is 5-2 with some impressive results. So I'm curious more about how we look.
