Interesting that last year the Bearcats did not have an initial commitment until July (Chazz Anderson). This year we have three by the end of May per Scout. I think that is a good sign.

Who know when these kids make up their minds, but if it's showing up on recruiting sites, that means two things: Those sites are covering UC more than they were and that the higher profile kids are coming to UC.

Who are the three recruits? Do any highly rated players have UC on their short list? Any local blue chippers (5 star guys) we should focus on getting?

The guys on the UC scout site would have known if anybody committed before July last year. They regularly call the recruits to find out the deal. This is thanks to BK, plain and simple.

Coaches can not comment on a verbal commitment so the news either comes from the kid or someone close to him (coaches). When a kid tells a coach he is going there, but doesn't tell the services or news outlets then that is a "silent verbal". I can't imagine that anyone committed last year.
