Consider this. Most conference teams have some players who need to be taught how to play BEAST ball; some who just need some refinement and tweaking.
Mick has a team where every player needs intense coaching. Even Deonta, who's still trying to learn to play the point.
That, folks, is one **** of a difficult challenge for Mick and his staff. It takes time and patience!

This team is 10 deep. 20 wins. No excuses.

It's not a judgement,i was just honestly wondering the point of the post?
I didn't mean to post a reply to make u wanna take off your earrings and high-heels to catfight over, but i would hope all UC fans knew the things u posted as we ALL should.

We need a point guard, if not two, and more consistent scoring, especially from the sg and sf spots. The defense will improve over time as the players mature, and get more experience.

Mick is one of the finest coaches around, just ask Sporting News writer Mike DeCourcy. UC is very fortunate to have him, DeCourcy has stated this many times.

He IS one of the best recruiters but he has only won 60% of his career games. UC expectations (based on 1990 thru 2006 results) are to win 75% of his games.

Well one sportwriter said something...i guess that makes it true. Lee Corso said VT is a lock to beat UC in the Orange Bowl. It is going to take more than a quote from a sportswriter to convince me...i want results.
(meaning i want to see this team drastically improve by seasons end. I want to see development of the bigs, a more cohesive offense, and more consistent play from are SGs playing PG)

You obviously rode the short schoolbus to school.
The past 2 years don't count. Any coach, including Thuggins wouldn't have won 75% of their games. Thugs would have had a losing record easily.
Get over yourself.
