Loosing Trevor Anderson will sting, but will not be the end of the world, as we are very heavy on the D-Line, and have plenty of depth to fill the void.
If MD was involved in this, I dislike him all the more now.

If MD was involved I hope UC gets proof and turns in MSU. I think something fishy is going on either way, and while MD may not have been involved I believe someone was. I have no problem with the guy wanting to go closer to home (supposedly issues there), so let him go to Toledo, BGSU, etc.

We do not know that Dantonio did anything. I heard about family problems or that Trevor was the unnamed player who was going to miss games next season...
We don't know. In any case, I have faith that MD did not initiate any contact if it happened. Is it so bad that a kid comes to a school, builds a relationship with a coach, the coach leaves, the kids needs advice, and calls the former coach. Granted, it gets sticky when that player follows the coach to the new school. However, if the call was like this, "Coach, I'm leaving UC to be closer to home, will you accept me?" and the coach answers, "You know I recruited you to the school and love you like a son, but I cannot answer that question until you announce to leave and begin your new recruitment eligibility. I cannot say now that I will make a spot for you, make it official and call me back."
I know that scenario gives MD a lot of credit, but he has always been a stand-up guy who is genuine and honest and plays by the rules (every coach plays those rules to the edge). I mean you cannot fault him for going to the one place they considered home. There was so much love for the Spartans on that coaching staff that Treadwell's son had MSU first on his list even with his dad as offensive coordinator at UC.
I don't get it, kids go to a school for the coaches. It's that simple. It shouldn't be that way. Each university has something unique to offer a kid and a perfect fit for the whole school would be very nice, but if a kid wants to go, let him and don't hate on the former coach. Kids follow coaches all the time. I liken MD's decision to the one Mick had to make to leave Mid Tenn St. Do you think those people hate him for coming to his home? (granted Mick took a step or three up in conference and tradition and MD made a paralell or downward step.) I am glad we have BK and any kid who wants to play hard for him in his system.

I can't imagine that UC will give him permission to go to MSU. There are a lot of schools in that area he can attend if it is really a personal hardship decision.

The Bearcats Defensive Line is a team strength. I believe the Bearcats will bounce back from the loss of Trevor.
