Are things really this quiet on the Bearcat front? No rumors?

Havn't heard any rumors lately, but from what it sounded like in the little chat with Cronin, it doesn't sound too promising for Jason Henry. Not trying to be a pessimist, but in the past, when things are teetering between maybe, and maybe not, especially in regards to eligibility issues, things have ended up in the maybe not category. I hope I'm wrong, because I would love to see this team grow around talent like it sounds like Henry has. On the other hand though, if he can't take care of business in the classroom, he's not the type of player Mick is looking for. Any thoughts?

I believe this is the point where someone who's been on the board since forever normally says "we deal in opinions with supporting evidence, not rumors" :D

Well, I agree with that analysis. If he can't make it in the classroom NOW, why do we want him to fail in the classroom as a UC student?
Better now than later. I had hoped he would make it, but maybe he doesn't have the desire to succeed academically?

I hope Henry makes it. I would rather he not enroll in UC and then have problems that could hurt the program. I wish him the best of luck.

Jason Henry is the kind of talent you find a way to make work in the classroom. I for one will be extremely disappointed if UC loses him. He is a four year player with great skills already and a tremendous upside.

I agree with your assessment. But, I'm not sure how you "make work". The student has some responsibility there.
