Mike Williams, Deonta Vaughn, Kenny Belton, Rashad Bishop, Larry Davis, Jason Henry, Anthony McClain, Alvin Mitchell and Damon Flint are all assigned to the Deveroes Slats team per the morning Enquirer. Slats does not have their first game until next Saturday (23rd) though. Other non-Bearcat related players will also be on the team.

Of the six incoming freshmen, two will not be in town as of next Saturday but I'm not sure which two. Its probable that Jason Henry will not play with the Slats team until he is academically eligible.

Other Bearcat assignments - Jamual Warren and Marcus Sikes (Mike Albert Leasing); Marvin Gentry and Adam Hrycaniuk (John H. Flessa Law Office); Branden Miller (Stan Litz Law Office).

As usual, the rosters are not final until a few games into the season.

I also know Marcus Sikes will not play right away until his injury is healed up better. Its probable that Williamson not play in the Deveroes league at all due to his recent surgery.

Using this article (http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070617/SPT/706170424/1062), I see that Mike Albert , Stan Litz and Flessa all play today so some Bearcats should be in action.

Thanks nacho, it sounds like the guy providing the update thought both Gentry and H played well, although I was at the games last year and Marvin looked good then as well. I know he had some nagging injuries last year and obvioulsy the competition or the effort in these games are not BE level but if Marv is completely healthy, maybe we will see more of the 32 point West Virginia performances this year.

Being here in St. Louis, I don't have the opportunity to get to the Summer league games. I'm counting on you guys to give me some good info. I haven't been able to read the link yet (blocked here at work). I'll be anxious to hear about everyone, especially the incoming guys.

Adam is now on the Mike Albert team. He played very well tonight. Mostly post work, but did hit a trey.

The whole team attended tonight. Saw Mike Williams, Deonta, Marcus Sikes, Big John, BMiller (who played in the late game) and Gentry all watched Jamual and Adam play. Even saw Herb Jones and Damon Flint hangin' out.

None of the recruits attended the game but Bishop, Belton, Mitchell and Davis are all in town and their work has begun. Word is that G Larry Davis is looking healthy and Alvin Mitchell is a stud.

Hey Mike, what's the word on McClain? Is he still working on getting eligible, any recent concern about his eligibilty? Will he make it in town for any of the summer league games?

I have a feeling Mitchell will be one of my favorite players out of this recruiting class. Hopefully we will get at least 3 years out of him.

There is no concern about his eligibility. He is taking care of necessary things. He is on track. But I don't foresee him at any SL games at this point.
