Let's hope for that ACT score. The more I read about Kilpatrick, the more I think he can come in and have an immediate impact. The fact that he stuffed the score sheet in various ways, leads me to think that he is closer to a complete player than some of our current wing players.

I think he is a going to be a good player. Has offensive skills we need.

I think he'll have more impact as a freshman then the sophmores of the current class had. He'll probably be able to produce like dixon is able to as a freshman.

We'll see.If he qualifies,i'm not expecting much from him as a freshmen for the the same reason i wasn't expecting much from Alvin Mitchell, who also stuffed sheets in high school.

Is he a 5th year senior? I'm not sure how the prep schools work. Do you go before you graduate HS?

The difference between Kilpatrick and Mitchell are that Sean has played against much better competion then alvin, has better coaching then alvin did, and lastly, has better players around him (mitchell had to do everything for his team).

Well put. Mitchell attended Cardinal Gibbons High School down here in Ft. Lauderdale. They play private school teams equivalent to Cincinnati Country Day, etc. Not good competition at all.

So where do you guys see him getting minutes from in his freshman year? Cash, DV, Dixon, Davis, Bishop, Mitchell and Wilks all getting minutes at the guards and forward positions

Kilpatrick finished his 4th year at White Plains HS in 2008 and is now in his 5th year prepping.

All 3 of those players heading to the Big East appear to be Big East bench warmers for at least their first year. None are in the top 200 recruit list I seen. Taking 5 years to get out of high school and pass the ACT isn't all that great either.

I don't think he'll get much playing time as a frosh either because of the experience ahead of him, unless he's able to come off the bench and light it up from outside, unlike the others. As for rankings, he will move up.......alot.

Typically, freshmen who come from structured basketball programs, especially the prep school route, are better prepared for the college game. Kids who play the public circuit, usually are not as prepared as kids who play in a private circuit or prep school circuit. Those teams play far better competition, and are so-called basketball player factories. Even if Kilpatrick doesn't play that much his freshman year, I think you'll see a more polished player as a freshman than Mitchell or Davis was.

None are in the top 200 recruit list I seen.

Nor was Anthony Buford. Herb Jones. Nicky Van Exel. Corie Blount. Steve Logan. To name a few.

Way back, Tony Yates wasn't either. Nor Tom Thacker. Not Bob Wisenhahn or Carl Bouldin.

You get the picture.

After tonight's performance against PU, Kilpatrick might come right in and start.
