Coach Kelly was on Lances afternoon show today. I heard the end of it.

- They have surpassed season ticket sales from last year. He's very impressed with support and expects it to grow.

- Trevor Anderson appealed and lost. He CAN go to MSU but must pay his own way for a year. Lance asked if it was due to MSU and Kelly dodged a bit and said mostly he had gone through spring paractice and waited until the last day of classes and that was not cool. He then met his intitial request and was going to release him to select schools (again like with the enquirer article you could "hear" between the lines). Said it is better for someone who does not want to be here to not be here if their heart is not in it.

- might have heard something else, but that is what I recall right now. Lance will probably podcast the interview on the 1530homer.com site.

If you are not with me, then you are against me!

I wish Trevor well in his personal and professional life. However, it wouldn't bother me if he managed to get drafted in the seventh round on a flier after not playing a snap as a Spartan, and then went on to big things.

LET'S ROCK NIPPERT!!!

I'm think Kelly will get a HUGE pay increase after taking the 'Cats to consecutive BSC bowls in his first two years, thanks in part to an excellent defense. I know some kids are still feeling their way around the offense, there are a lot of players in new positions (at least in the collegiate career). I would've like to hear more on how changing positions mid career affects the players. I mean some of the changes have to be exciting as the players get back to familiar high school positions. Other changes have the promise of increased PT due to athleticism and the ability to contribute has to be exciting.

I'd love to hear from anyone on how this affects and pumps up the guys.

GO CATS!

Thanks for the word Jon. Heard the podcast, a few more:

- Excited about season tix sales. Says people are realizing they can get the big time college football atmosphere at a small price.

- Mauk has the same people working on his arm that worked on Palmer's knee. right now, 80%, but "on schedule."

- Said Frazier likes UC, but really wants to be sure he can play immediately, and be assured of starting (my comment: If that's his top criterion, I'm guessing UConn. I think their QB position has been less settled than ours over the last couple years.) I was actually surprised Kelly was allowed to comment on that.

- Stewart, as we all know, is done at UC without possibility of being back (Lance's question was if there was any possibility of his return).

All that and the aforementioned Trevor comment.

All signs are certainly pointing up. The attendance news is certainly welcome. Now, the team needs to deliver on the field. Otherwise, the momentum being built will be lost.
