Apparently James White is tearing up the D-League and is garnering serious interest from the NBA folks. Averages almost 26 points a game.

Also, won a dunk contest in Turkey, where he played last year. One of his dunks was from almost a foot behind the free throw line. The best dunk is at the 7 minute mark in the video, just a heads up!!

I can't believe he isn't in the NBA. He improved every year at UC. He can shoot, drive, pass etc...

He is a youtube sensation. It's crazy for a guy who has barely played in the NBA. CHeck out all his videos and hits.

Let me preface this by saying that I LOVED watching JW play at UC, and he may be one of the five best dunkers/leapers in the world right now (depending on what level of player you include in the discussion).

I think the reason he isn't in the league right this second is a myriad of little nit picky things that scouts and GM's were initially turned off by.

Hopefully his play overseas recently and his time in the D League this year will go a long way towards changing that and getting him a roster slot on an NBA team soon.

This guy owns youtube. Im sure James didn't even take the dunk contest serious. I can't believe he isn't in the NBA. I know his body language sometimes is questionable but so are many other players in the NBA. He is a top 15 athlete in the NBA(the NBA is just crazy right now with talent).

Not true. He didn't graduate because UC AD took away academic supervision from interim coaches in 2006.

Actually Andy Kennedy was the primary recruiter then. Huggins was HC then.
