How impressive is the list of BE markets? New York City, Chicago, Philly, DC, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, New Jersey, Tampa Bay, Those are all top 30 markets in the country with NYC, Chicago, Philly, DC all in the top 10 in the USA and top 14 in Americas.
Hartfod and Milwaukee in top 45.
Has there ever been a confrence like this? No wonder ESPN signed with the BE, plus it is a good way to push their ESPN360 product by putting teams in those markets online. IMPRESSIVE confrence geography!

Well... one thing I don't understand is why are not many cable providers offering Big East channel like they did with Big Ten channel? Comcast is offering us Big Ten channel, but no Big East channel. Big Ten channel? Oh forget it.

Let's get rid of the South Bend market. It can't be that high...
NJ, by the way, is mostly part of the Philly market or the NYC market.

I'm thrilled that there is no "Big East" Network. Just one more thing I would have to subscribe to. I think it's terrible that the Big 10 forced themselves to have a network, then forced the network on cable companies, which in the end made prices go up.

The ND market is nationwide. Like it or not, there are a lot of people who totally identify with ND. There isn't a bigger UC fan to be found anywhere, but, when I walked on the ND campus, stood under the Golden Dome, I got a chill that ran up my spine. The feeling of history, nostalgia, was indescribable.

I have to admit, the Big Ten network is pretty well done. I enjoy watching Big Ten football and men's basketball on that network because the dedicated commentators are so knowledgeable about the programs, coaches and players. I would love a Big East network channel for the same reasons.

That must be why so many of those Notre Dame fans showed up at US Bank Arena dressed as empty seats.
Apparently they have chosen not to identify with this team.
Or, they are just bandwagon fans.
(Sorry, had to start it!)

They weren't filled with Red and Black, either.
