He is 6-4. He can shoot. He'll get 5-10 minutes as a spot-up shooter in 2008.

Miller is a walk-on with few prospects of playing significant minutes, like most every other walk-on in the country. Despite the fact that he's been in the program for two years, he'll be behind every other guard and small forward, including all of the freshmen. Last year, Miller had to play because of the poor team depth. That won't be the case in the future.
As far as Miller's talents are concerned: Yes, he can shoot it a bit, provided he can stand still, unguarded. He'll never be able to create his own shots. Miller plays hard and will sit down and guard. That puts him in better shape (right now) than forward Rashad Bishop, who's having trouble keeping the ballhandler in front of him. On the other hand, Miller can't guard quick wings.
He was one of the better players in the CHL, a league of medium-sized HS's. That's a far cry from the BE.

5more fouls

Miller won't be on the floor enough to commit five fouls. I'm not trying to denegrate him, but he's not going to be in the top two of the depth chart at any position. Frankly, there are too many better players.

He's one of the Top 2 outside shooters on the 2008 roster.

Come on guys Miller is a nice player but he is not a Big East type player. There is no shame in that but I know a lot of players that can shoot the ball that arent basketball players. He could not keep up with the srength and speed that this conference requires. Miller is good for 2 or 3 minutes a game, that way he can go all out and give somebody a small break before halftime.

Durden and Levett could both create their own shots off the dribble. Miller does not have the speed. But he is a nice guy, will contribute in practice, and as Tom says, next year he might get a spell as a spot up shooter at times.

And he's one of the Top 2 on the team who could get an A in Dr B's chemistry class.

Levett was hardly just a "stand up shooter". He certainly didn't get nicknames like "Levettator" or "The Helicopter" because of his shooting ability.

Ok, I'll bite. Who is the other Bearcat capable of pulling down an 'A'?

If I remember correctly, Sikes was a "3.0+" guy. Also, I belive that Williams was an Academic All-American in high school. Also Belton, supposedly does very well in the classroom as well.
