Here's an intersesting quote about recruiting one-and-dones: "To have any hope of establishing winning squads, college coaches must try to deprogram their young stars — but only after first flattering them and granting them scholarships."

So, BasketbySteveLogan, any inside dope on the kid. Do we have a shot?

I got through the first page before I decided we've gone the wrong direction and encouraged the wrong things. This kid will never gain eligibilty at the D-1 level. Too much interference.

Too much interference.You should really read the rest. The last part has a lot with Clark Francis. He thinks Allonzo is better than Brandon Jennings at the same age.

But, it is one sick industry.

Now that I read farther I encourage everyone to to read this. It's a bit long but man does it cast a pall on recruiting for the NCAA. Good pick up Jeffto

Quite it frankly doesn't per se. But at further look it has to do with all college recruiting including us (?)

we're on his short list for the 2015-16 season. the administration said there might be some NCAA clearinghouse issues though
