I've been looking to see if anyone is reporting it. I haven't seen anything yet.

I have not seen anything either. Something like this usually bubbles up to the top of ESPN's website very quickly.

Discussion on Musketeermadness. com is confirming it.
I hate to say it but it certainly is a good thing that Mick was hired and not Skip, this would have set UC back another 5 years.

You shouldn't have even posted that. To find relief in him not being hired because his death would have "set us back" is pretty sad. If you "hate to say it" you probably shouldn't.

With all due respect, that's an absurd comment.

Can't express how sad this is for anyone in the basketball community. He was an absolute class act.

CBS SportsLine is now reporting this at the top of their home page. My thoughts and prayers go out to Skip's family. This is indeed a tragedy.

This is a tragedy. My prayers for his family, Wake Forest and X communities. Makes our arguing over Huggins a bit ridiculous.

That comment could comfort only someone with no tact.
Please say something nice about a good man or keep your fingers off the keyboard! Show a little respect.
Please keep Nancy and their sons in your prayers.

Taken from a newspaper report this morning -
One of the best stories to come out about Prosser on Thursday was released by West Virginia, where Bob Huggins is the new coach. Huggins and Prosser once battled for city bragging rights when they coached Cincinnati and Xavier, respectively. "When I had my heart attack, I wasn’t allowed to have visitors," Huggins said. "Skip flew to Pittsburgh and somehow made it back to see me. That was a busy time of year during that September recruiting period and for him to fly to Pittsburgh and find a way to get in the hospital to see me has always meant a lot to me."

Coach Huggs and the late Coach Prosser made the UC / XU rivalry what it should be.
