View Full Version : If Dom Goodman had not
changed his mind, would he have been on Findlay's DII National Championship Team which just won 56-53 finishing 36-0.
If iam not mistaken he had committed to play BB before his record state champ performance got him a UC offer.

I certainly hope you are not implying that he should have gone onto Findlay to play basketball instead of helping UC football win the Big East Championship and an Orange Bowl bid.
just noting. He has a year left of BB eligibility. If he does not make an NFL roster could he walkon?

I doubt too many people on Findlay's roster could play for UC's basketball team. It is similar to someone having a scholarship offer in football to Walsh. Winning the championship in Division II basketball probably would have gotten them a win in the Big East.
Division II championship<Playing in the NFL.

I think the way Goody put on muscle, he would destroy the current UC bball players in practice. Maybe not quite like Barwin but it would be interesting to watch.

I dont know about that...while definitely muscular, he's actually pretty small when you stand next to him. It looked like that Championship game was amazing though...I just caught highlights.

He would be eligible to walk on. Whether he would ever play is another matter. Frankly if he doesn't get a FA look in the NFL and still needs his degree, why not take him as a walk on?
