He also has 90 "points" so he's close.

ESPN is one of the worst sources for recruiting information of any national organization. In the past they have let interns compile their rankings.

I get dizzy scrolling through those lists. How many top 20, top 50, or top 100 recruits do we have coming in?
I think if we get a top 20 guy and a couple more in the top 40 or 50 range, we could be competitive in the Big East next year.

Yeah, G'town had 6 players who were all either 4 or 5 stars last year, and how did they do?
Oh yeah, they lost twice to UC.
Nice try though.

Signing top recruits doesn't automatically make you a great team. But without them, I can guarantee you won't be.
But what does that have to do with my question? Did we get any top guys this year? Sorry, I just don't care very much abut following recruiting. I pay attention to the players once they get here.

Joe - I will agree that without top level players you are not going to make a quick turnround, but there are many teams that made it to the elite 8 over the last few years that have had much less than top recruited talent. The problem is that those teams see a good year and then a couple of bad ones.

Try www.rscihoops.com for a balanced list. RSCI takes 5 or 6 sources and averages them out.

UC is in with, but not guaranteed........
Bledsoe.........at top 60 PG, expected to move up to a top 20 PG
Reik...............once a top 10 player, and top center of his class
Stephenson.....a top 10 player by Rivals.......
What's wrong with that?
