Sampson Carter is a 6-foot-7, 195 pound small forward from Memphis, and he plays for Hamilton High School where he put up averages of 18 points and 11 rebounds per game last season.

According to Carter he has the likes of Clemson, Virginia, Memphis, UTEP, UAB, Cincinnati, and New Mexico on his current list...

New names are welcome to show interest in this fine high level instituion. Mick is quickly showing his recruiting power, as he nearly has his pick of quality kids, athletes who can help the program, while maintaining their academics and standing in society. (Henry is a noted exception and Mick has shown that he will give the player enough rope to hang himself, but he will not tolerate it, much the way BK is doing with Mister Simpson).

As Mick shows he can also game coach (and win), he'll continue to tirelessly work the recruiting trail (does the guy ever sleep?). This will ultimately pay huge dividends in the recruiting circuit.

Kudos to Mick and the gang for all of their hard work with Cashmere.

Interesting - Mick Cronin brought Donald Little and BJ Grove to Cincinnati.

And Jason Maxiell, too. Some work out great, like he did.

Others don't - like they didn't.
