HARTFORD, Conn. -- Connecticut basketball coach Jim Calhoun was hospitalized Saturday after he collapsed following a 50-mile charity bicycle ride during which he fell and broke five ribs.

Well, one thing, you have to give the old guy credit for biking 50 miles for charity. The last 16 with three broken ribs. Now, if only the NCAA would place sanctions on UConn for their violations.
