It put a damper (all be it a very small one) on the day's events for me. Even if there is nothing to it... it's something that will sit there, in the back of our heads, if UC ends up on the bubble two years from now... I am not familiar with the selection process for the position, or how long said person holds the position... anyone care to give me a crash course in NCAA Selection Committee 101? Also, when's the last time someone from the Big East was at the head of the committee?

Ehh, maybe a little but the committee has to be impartial and with that I'd say it's nothing to worry about. 'Sides the Big Ten got 70% of their league in this past year . How much worse can it get?

I don't think the SEC was helped last tourney were they. It's for the year after next anyway. We may not have a tourney team anyway assuming BR and Gates are gone.
